Nashua, New Hampshire   (September 4, 2012)

The Nashua Education Foundation is pleased to announce the election of Ray Lambert and Bette Lasky to the board of directors. Both will serve for a three year term.

Ray has served on the board of directors for a number of community organizations, including The Front Door, Nashua Rotary Club, United Way of Greater Nashua, Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, Nashua Exchange Club, The Adult Learning Center and Easter Seal of New Hampshire.

Bette Lasky has been involved in a number of community organizations and is currently the co host of the Granite State View, a talk radio show on WSMN 1590AM Nashua. Previously Bette served as a New Hampshire State Representative for Nashua for 10 years and served in the NH State Senate as the senator from Nashua’s District 13. Senator Lasky also served on the Nashua City Planning Board and chaired the committee for 10 years.

Ray and Bette join board members Kathleen Allen, Melanson, Heath  & Co.; Joy Barrett, Big Brother, Big Sisters of Greater Nashua; Scott Flegal, Flegal Law Office; Tim Hogan, Crowne Plaza Nashua; Mary Jordan, The Adult Learning Center; Beth Kreick, Nashua School District; Edwina Kwan; Deborah Novotny,  People’s United Bank; and Peter Tamposi, The Tamposi Law Group.

The Board also elected officers for the 2012-2013 year:  Mary Jordan is President, Tim Hogan is Vice President, Edwina Kwan is Secretary and Kathleen Allen is Treasurer.
