About the NEFies
The Nashua Education Foundation Excellence in Education Awards (NEFies) is an annual event recognizing excellence in instruction in Nashua’s public schools. Each year we invite teachers, administrators, parents and students to nominate a teacher in the district who goes above and beyond to make the learning experience a positive and meaningful one for Nashua students. Awards are given in the following areas:
- Music / Art
- CTE
- Language Arts / English
- Special Education
- Health / Physical Education
- World Languages
- Special Services: Guidance, Nurse, School Psychologist
- Math
- Social Studies
- Science
- High School Teacher of the Year
- Middle School Teacher of the Year
- Elementary School Teacher of the Year
Each year we also honor one member of the community with the Ron Kraus “Outside the Profession” Award. Ron was a founder of the NEF and his dedication to his community and specifically to the NEF mission has been instrumental in the success of the foundation. Upon his passing, an award was created to honor his efforts and is bestowed each year on a member of the Nashua community who goes above and beyond in supporting Nashua schools, teachers and students.

The 2024 NEFies will be Tuesday. October 16th. We will be celebrating our 15th year of service to the teacher’s of Nashua.
NEFie Tickets
Tickets for the NEFie awards are $60 per person for general admission and $40 per person for school personnel. Each winner receives a free ticket for themselves and a guest. For more information please contact us
