Nashua, New Hampshire… The Nashua Education Foundation (NEF) is pleased to announce donations from local companies and individuals.  The mission of the NEF is to enhance educational opportunities for Nashua public school students.  The Foundation awards grants to Nashua teachers and staff for projects that creatively enhance the education and instruction of students in any academic discipline.  It is only through the generosity of community members and businesses that our students can continue to receive the best possible educational experience.  Recent donations include:

  1.  An anonymous donation of $20,000.00 coupled with an additional $20,000.00 pledged as a matching gift over the next year;
  2. The NEF was proud to be the recipient of a $5,000.00 donation from The Telegraph.   The funds came from the proceeds of their outstanding series Nashua 50 which highlighted 50 members of the Nashua community who contributed to the growth of the city;
  3. The Portland Pie Company donated over $1,600.00 to the NEF after holding a fall fundraiser at their restaurant on Canal Street in Nashua;
  4. The Earl and Marilyn Prolman Family Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation contributed $1,000.00 to the NEF in November of 2012.

The NEF continues to support Nashua schools and has granted Nashua educators nearly $5,000 in their latest round of grant awards in October, 2012.
